If you look at the current market the timing is perfect for buyers to get into their dream homes. Prices have stalled, but in most areas are still appreciating at between four and six percent. For the areas where prices have come down, the bottom is likely very near which means that prices are not going to go much lower. In addition, interest rates have also stalled at levels that are still historically low. For home buyers this translates into being able to afford more house now than they will in the future. It also means buyers have their pick of the premium crop with regard to the home that they choose. Overall this presents a historically great opportunity for home buyers to really take advantage of the market and get into their dream home.
